Daxton turned 6 months old on Valentine's Day!
We had his 6 month check-up today.
Apparently our child is very disproportionate.
He weighs in at 17lbs 7 oz (50th%) and 27 1/8 in. long (75th%),
but his head according to the doctor, "has always
been big." It is in the 90th percentile. Who knew?
We love him just as he is!!!

Every time I look at this picture, I laugh histarically.
Daxton is getting his first two teeth, and we are
trying to capture the moment. Poor kid, I bet
he felt very violated. He obviously is not
ready to show them off yet.

This blanket was a gift from
Great-Grandma King...
Daxton just loves to weave
his fingers into it.

As you can tell,
Daxton just loves kisses from his mom
.

Daxton can still balance
despite extra clothing layers

Daxton loves to help with the laundry!

We spent the Superbowl with our friends
The Arnsperger's and The Stewart's.
This is Arnsperger's little boy Ethan with Daxton.

Daxton is doing really well sitting on his own.
Not quite perfect, but really well!
Independence is coming.

I think Daxton is going to be a computer
wiz like his Uncle Michael.

Daxton loves his "Ocean Wonders Aquarium"
from Grandma Carol and Grandpa T.
He has figured out how to turn it on by himself and
we catch him playing with it in the early morning and
at nap time. Actually, Great-Grandpa told us he was trying
to figure out how to turn it on and Daxton showed him how instead.
Kids are amazing!

Bubbles

Next step... walking or crawling

Time with Great-grandpa Don

Beautiful Boy

New Tricks...
Daxton can now not only suck
his thumb, but also his toe.

These pictures are in honor of
Great-grandma Kastenschmidt
a.k.a. "Gramcracker"
She bought this outfit for Daxton before he was born.
We miss her GREATLY and think of her often!
She would have loved having another boy in the family!
